We started Adpartner in a fourth floor walkup in Manhattan, in 1998. Our careers were successful, with
vast experience in large firms - Bruce as a Senior Creative at Young & Rubicam/NY and Karen as Business Manager at Condé Nast Publications. Yet, there comes a time in life when you decide to take the leap and build your own enterprise or remain under the safe umbrella of another. We wanted something different.
We felt too insulated in large firms…too far from the result and impact of our efforts. We decided to create
our own shop, an advertising and design agency that measured its success by the lives and livelihoods it impacted. We sought out small and mid-sized businesses where we could work directly with the owners and decision makers rather than the many levels large corporations rely on. We wanted our work to be as creative and impactful as possible.
In 2019 we moved our agency from the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, where it operated for 20 years, to
the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Our clients are local, regional and national, from Massachusetts to Arizona. Our work spans all categories, from Specialty Foods to Resorts and Spas to Retail, Insurance,
Financial and Home Services. We believe that the relationship with our clients is more like a partnership, open, honest and always looking for the best way to build the brand for long-term success. For over 20 years that formula has worked. We are proud to have changed lives, including our own.
